Mandaluyong Youth Dialogue with Senator Bam Aquino

  • August 18, 2025

On August 16, 2025, José Rizal University, in collaboration with the Lingap Karunungan Project by Lingap Angat and partner schools, gathered the youth at the Centennial Auditorium for a dialogue themed “Building the Future through Education – Vision, Aspirations, Challenges, Action.”

Through Lingap Karunungan, we emphasize that quality learning is not only about classrooms and books but also about nurturing both the mind and body. Many students continue to face challenges such as a lack of proper nutrition and care, which directly affect their capacity to learn, dream, and thrive.

For years, Lingap Angat and José Rizal University, through the Community Development Office (CDO), have sustained a strong partnership rooted in education and community service. Marking Lingap’s 3rd Anniversary, this Youth Dialogue becomes even more meaningful as it highlights their joint initiatives—such as JRU Lunas Basa and the Lingap Angat Community Learning Hub and the Mingo Supplement Feeding Program—efforts that reflect their shared commitment to holistic student development.

Together, we aim to build a future where every learner is equipped, healthy, and empowered—in alignment with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
