JRU engaged in the Local Tourism and Cultural Development Plan (LTCDP) Workshop last August 25-26, 2022.
Organized by the City Government of Mandaluyong through its Cultural Affairs and Tourism Department. It focused on economic development, strengthening human capital, and advancing sustainable urban tourism through collaboration with stakeholders. JRU’s involvement proves its commitment to promoting heritage preservation, enhancing the labor market for our graduates, and contributing to sustainable cities and communities, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
JRU participated in the launch of the Mandaluyong Tourism and Cultural Development Plan (MTCDP) 2024–2030 and the Tourism Enterprise Forum (TEF) held at the Kaban ng Hiyas Auditorium last October 2, 2022. It highlighted the city’s vision of becoming a premier tourism destination through sustainable urban development, culture preservation, and economic growth which aligns with JRU’s SDG targets.
