In a bold move to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry demands,
José Rizal University (JRU) and Unilab Education, the learning and development division of United Laboratories, Inc., formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 5, 2025, at the Unilab Corporate Center. This is the first step in a partnership to improve industry-academia relations while equipping students for success in the real world.
The collaboration aims to link classroom instruction with real-world business experience. In order to provide students with the in-demand skills required for the changing labor market, they intend to jointly create training programs, immeresive internships, and expert mentorship opportunities.
