Application Procedures
International student admission in 9-easy steps
Step 1: Complete the online application form through the JRU Admission Hub (AdHub) by providing all required personal, academic, and contact information.
Step 2: Upload digital copies of the following admission documents for initial eligibiIity evaluation:
- Photocopy of Passport (biometric data page)
- Copy of Transcript of Records
- Copy of Diploma / Certificate of Graduation
For Master’s Degree applicants only:
- Certificate of Eligibility to Pursue Graduate Studies (if the Certificate of Graduation does not clearly indicate degree completion)
Step 3: Once found eligible, receive your Letter of Eligibility, pay the non-refundable USO 50.00 application fee, upload proof of payment, and email your confirmed flight details with active contact number to isso@jru.edu.
Required documents for enrolment:
- Authenticated / Apostille / Original Transcript of Records
- Authenticated / Apostille / Original Diploma / Certificate of Graduation
- Authenticated / Apostille Police Clearance / Certificate of No Criminal Records from Country of Origin
- Study Permit or Working Visa issued by the Bureau of Immigration
- Certified Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR
I- Card)
Step 4: Travel to the Philippines and bring all required original admission and immigration documents for final verification.
Step 5: Upon arrival, the Admissions Unit and ISSO will review your submitted documents and issue your official Letter of Acceptance once approved.
Step 6: ISSO will assist you in the evaluation of documents, issuance of Notice of Acceptance, and Student Visa processing.
Step 7: After visa approval, proceed with academic advising, subject registration, and English Enhancement Program placement when applicable.
Step 8: Settle your tuition and other required fees through the JRU Teller or authorized payment partners.
Step 9: Once payment is posted, receive your JRU email address and LMS login credentials for access to the learning system.
Philippine Study Tour and Cultural Program for International Students
Embracing Education Diversity in these Changing Times
This course offers students an opportunity to develop methodological and practical skills in the context of an 8-day to 14-day study tour to the Philippines, once named as the Pearl of the Orient.
During the course, students will gain an enhanced understanding of the Philippines. The study tour is built around a series of sit-in classes and laboratory exercises at Jose Rizal University, tours to historical sites of Manila and nearby areas, exposure to Filipino cuisine, visit to heritage and cultural sites Students will apply their theoretical knowledge to evaluate these case study projects with relation to core development priorities and best practice methods.
ENGLISH AS SECOND LANGUAGE PROGRAM
This class will allow students to develop Basic English vocabulary and grammatical structures so that they can successfully communicate. Students will also develop literary and analytical skills which will enable them to be successful in future courses.
Specific units are described in the scope and sequence on the following pages. Every unit will develop students’ Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills.

The Rizalian International Student Association or RISA , was established to bring together the diverse international community at JRU.
The student organization works to bring aspects from our distinct and richly diverse cultural backgrounds to share them with the JRU community at a cultural, academic, and social level.
