Tindahan ni Rizal is back in action, reopening on August 30, 2024, to supply Monay (bread) and dishwashing liquid soap to the JRU community. Committed to sustaining livelihood projects in Barangay Daang Bakal and Barangay Harapin ang Bukas under CDO’s Sustainable Integrated Community Advancement Program (SICAP), the Tindahan now opens every last weekday of the month.
Not only does JRU provide crucial assistance to the adopted barangays in sustaining the program, but the entire JRU community also actively contributes to environmental conservation by collecting empty plastic bottles from within and beyond the community. These collected bottles are then delivered to the barangays for proper disposal and recycling. As a token of appreciation, customers are offered the products at a reduced price, making it a mutually beneficial exchange.
