Last August 17, 2018, the kids from our Elementary Division celebrated our Buwan ng Wika by preparing different Filipino typical Miryenda. A total of 8 kids from grade 5 and grade 6 joined the said event with the help of the assistance of our HRM Students. The teams prepared a different dish with their own twist and a touch of modern style cooking it, and the kids enjoyed every second of it and learning different techniques and process about cooking.
It was a nice friendly competition that the whole World Wide Web watched live via our FB page and each viewer is cheering and supporting the kids in their work. It took more than 3 hours to prepare and plate their dishes that was judged by one of our Chef teachers in the HTM Department Chef Dom. He was amazed and surprised by what the kids have delivered and able to make in such a short amount of time.
The parents of the contestant were present and cheering their child to do their best.
