Public Advisory on 2019-nCoV

This is an update for the JRU community about the University’s efforts against the Novel Corona Virus (2019-nCoV). The University maintains daily monitoring of all individuals who have traveled to areas affected by the said virus and requires a strictly 14-day self-quarantine in accordance with the Department of Health (DOH) guidelines. Based on these, the University informs the JRU community that all individuals present in JRU (those who traveled and those who did not) have in effect fulfilled the 14-day quarantine period.

We thank everyone who has been cooperative in observing quarantine processes. We also remind those who in the future may fall under this travel category to observe self-quarantine and notify the Medical and Dental Clinic (MDC).

The focus of the JRU community at this point should, therefore, be to (1) continue to stay healthy, by practicing the personal hygiene habits and precautionary measures recommended by the DOH, and (2) exhibit the values of a Rizalian by continuing to show respect, courteousness, consideration, and integrity to all.

The University will provide more updates as needed. For questions and any other concerns, please feel free to contact our Medical and Dental Clinic at 02-8531-8031 loc. 24 or 79 or send them an email message via Thank you
