JRU Traditional Christmas Party

Jose Rizal University had its Traditional Christmas Party with this year’s theme, Bohemian Style Christmas both for its teaching and non-teaching employees last December 15, 2018. Employees dressed-up for the said theme with their glamorous and stunning costume. It was indeed a family-like moment where the whole JRU Community celebrated the night with each other. The University President, Dr. Vincent K. Fabella started the program with its Christmas message and a toast for everyone.
The event made the night when the different groups compete with each other showcasing their talents on singing and dancing in Bohemian Song and Dance Fusion and Party Contest. Senior High school made the night with its powerhouse performance of “Kapayapaan” by Topical Depression, a live performance played with the different musical instruments, a song and dance specially performed by the faculty.

Another highlight of the event was the Mr. and Ms. Boho Fashion of the Night wherein different employees tapped and ramped on the stage who dressed-up with looks, style, makeup, creativity, and effort. Both faculties from different divisions won in the said fashion.
It was fun and full of excitement when various raffle items have given away for Jose Rizal University’s employees where all have waited for the grand prize, hoping and praying that their names will be picked as a winner.

Also, The Service Awardees were recognized as what has been the tradition of the JRU family to honor those who have been with the University spending their years of service. This year, the University President was also recognized for his number of years in the institution. The University awarded their employees who’ve been with JRU for 35 years. This shows the University cares for its people as they really spend half, or should we say their whole lives serving JRU.
Truly, this event made the JRU family gathered together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, the Christmas.
