Dr. Avelino S. Caraan, Jr. is a distinguished professor at JRU Graduate School, renowned for his expertise in education, financial management, research, and labor relations. He serves as a Full Professor and Board Member of TESDA, overseeing technical-vocational education programs nationwide. Dr. Caraan is also dedicated to inclusive education as the Research Special Education Project Director for Pasig City Public Schools. Beyond academia, he advocates for social welfare at the UN ESCAP and co-founded ASCEND, supporting underprivileged students. Dr. Caraan holds a Master of Arts in Education from José Rizal University and a doctorate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Currently, he is pursuing a JD degree at JRU.
