Construction of new ES building gets underway
José Rizal University held the ground breaking ceremony for new Elementary School (ES) building on July 31, 2012 at the University Annex I.
This marks another milestone in the University’s efforts to create the best learning environment for its students.
Moving into the new building will mean the first time the ES will be segregated from the main campus. A move which seems to be very timely as the expansion is partly due to the University’s preparation for the K-12 program implementation. This allows JRU ES to accommodate more students. The new building is expected to be home to more than 1,000 elementary school pupils beginning school year 2013-2014.
The new JRU ES building will consist of three floors, multi-media and air-conditioned classrooms, an ES library, and a new quadrangle. This significant investment in learning spaces is expected to make a significant and positive impact on learning outcomes.
